Migos Album "CULTURE" To Sell 120K Units In First Week and Debut At No. 1
Migos is set to earn their beginning No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 nautical chart side by side week with projected sales of their new project Civilisation estimated at 120,000 units in the first calendar week, Billboard reported.
The Atlanta group's sophomore album was released on Friday, January 27 and came with a lot of hype surrounding the trio with their No. one single "Bad and Boujee" doing very well commercially. The project was released nether the labels the group is signed to, Quality Control and 300 Entertainment. Early sales figures are showing that the album could sell anywhere from 100,000 to 120,000 copies by end of Thursday.
The two single that's pushing the album are "Bad and Boujee" featuring Lil Uzi Vert and "T-Shirt." The first is their biggest hitting to engagement and is currently the No. i song on the Hot 100 nautical chart and the after is growing in popularity with some ix 1000000 on-demand streams this calendar week. Civilization is the followup album to Migos' 2022 debut LP Yung Rich Nation which sold 18,000 copies in the first calendar week and peaked at No. 17 on the 200 album chart. A big role of the sales for CULTURE volition be driven by streaming since we are living in an historic period where people don't buy music anymore because streaming is then much easier.
